University Campus Barnsley (UCB) has become an Academic Afilliate with the Chartered Association of Building Engineers (CABE) for its BSc (Hons) Construction and Project Management degree.
CABE is a leading body for professionals working or wanting to work as chartered professionals within the building and construction industry. It specialises in the use of technology in the design, construction, assessment and maintenance of the built environment.

Affiliation with CABE will allow UCB the opportunity to develop further links with industry experts and anyone studying the Construction and Project Management degree will have access to the latest research, CPD events and influential figures within the industry.

Wayne Lindley, Course Leader for the BSc (Hons) Construction and Project Management degree at UCB, said: “I am delighted to be the CABE academic representative at UCB. The CABE affiliation will provide further industry and academic support for our students helping them to develop the required industry skills to help them on their way to becoming chartered professionals.”

Places are still available on the BSc (Hons) Construction and Project Management course, which is subject to validation, at UCB and it’s not too late to apply to start in September 2016. For more information call 01226 216 165, email info@barnsley.ac.uk.
