Course Details


This HND will prepare you for a career in the creative industries. You will develop the practical and technical skills necessary to begin your journey as a practitioner in Graphic Design. This course offers those with a passion for design the opportunity to explore graphic design through a range of digital and traditional methods.

The aim of the HND in Graphic and Digital Design is to enable you to develop conceptual, creative and practical skills and to encourage flexibility, knowledge and motivation as a basis for future studies and career development in Multimedia, Graphic or Web Design.

How long is the course?

This course runs for two years. Attendance will be between 12 and 15 hours per week.

BTEC Level 5 HND in Graphic Design.

How will I be assessed?

Assessment is continuous and is based on assignments, projects, group projects, lectures, workshops and formative tasks.

You can progress to a Degree in Graphic Design BA (Hons), employment or self-employment
