The Students’ Union (SU) is here to represent, support and advise you on all aspects of campus life, ensuring you have the best possible experience during your time at UCB.

When you enrol you will automatically become a member of the SU which is led by a group of students – the Students’ Union Committee. The committee are elected by you and supported by our Student Union staff.

The SU Committee works in partnership with UCB to represent student views through our Learner Voice system, organise fundraising events and awareness campaigns and participate in events and volunteering.

Being a part of the SU will give you some great skills that will help you in your studies and your future career. You’ll learn time management, organisation skills, how to work in a team and will gain confidence in dealing with a variety of different people and situations.

There are lots of volunteering opportunities available in the SU and a chance to be part of the student council or a course representative. There are also the elected positions of President, Vice-President, Student Voice and Representation Officer, Communications Officer, Welfare Officer and Liberation Officers.
