On Friday 10 November, students from University Campus Barnsley (UCB) and Barnsley College will process from the University Campus Barnsley building to The Civic as part of their annual Graduation ceremony.

The ceremony is to honour those students who have successfully completed Higher Education courses over the last year and will be attended by graduands, their guests and VIPs including senior staff and Her Worshipful, the Mayor of Barnsley. The procession will begin at 11.50am and will be led by a local brass band.

We are delighted to welcome Simon Biltcliffe, founder of print services specialist Webmart, as the keynote speaker.

To allow the procession to pass safely through the town there will be some temporary road closures. The following roads will be closed for approximately 15 minutes at 11.45am: Church Street, Regent Street, Eastgate, Royal Street, Hanson Street and Sadler Gate.

We invite members of the public and local businesses to support the students and their achievements during the procession.
