Our Music department welcomed students from Sheffield-based music education provider Red Tape Central for a taster session.
The group of students, who are studying a range of programmes at Red Tape Central, visited the campus to see the industry-standard facilities on offer in the music studies and practice rooms.
The students were also given a demonstration of current student work and had the opportunity to speak to second year degree students in a question and answer session.
Charles Watts, a BTEC Music Technology student at Red Tape Central, said: “University Campus Barnsley (UCB) is a well put together university with great resources and professional equipment.”
Ian Stanley, Music Tutor at Red Tape Central, added: “We were very impressed with the music technology facilities and staff at UCB. The tour was well structured and the staff were friendly, providing lots of positive advice and guidance to our students.”
