University Campus Barnsley (UCB) welcomes prospective students to its next Open Day on Monday 20 August.

Those interested in studying at UCB will have the opportunity to talk to tutors, get information on student finance, find out about student life and learn about the full and part-time study available at the event, which runs in two sessions 2.00pm to 4.00pm and 6.00pm to 8.00pm.

Based in the heart of Barnsley at its well-equipped town centre campus, UCB offers an individual university experience giving students the skills and knowledge required to progress in their chosen careers. Course fees start at just £5,995 per year for full-time Higher National Certificates and Diplomas (HNC/Ds), foundation degrees, degrees and Higher Apprenticeships.

A wide variety of full and part-time courses are available in Animal Management, Art and Design, Business, Construction, Early Years, Engineering, Health and Social Care, Media, Music and Performing Arts, Public Services, Sport, Education and Training and Travel and Tourism. Some courses only require a few hours study per week at the campus, the rest can be done at home.

Everyone is welcome to attend the Open Day on Monday 20 August, at UCB on Church Street. You can register to attend or turn up on the day.

If you would like to attend but are unavailable on this date please contact Ashley Gillow on 01226 216 284 or email a.gillow@barnsley.ac.uk to arrange a tour for an alternate date.
